One legged Runners Album








Shorter routes will be offered at each training session, so don't be put off if you think it's too far, or too fast. We offer sessions for everyone. These are a guideline only*.

Beginners are most welcome -you will offered structured training specifically tailored for level of ability.

Unless otherwise stated, all sessions start at Pontypool Active Living Centre (ALC). Mondays at 6.30pm - Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.

Tues 31st Speedwork Hill Reps
Thurs 2nd Cycle path + Canal 7 Maesderwen onto cycle path to Pontrhydyrun roundabout, up Grove Park to canal, back along the canal to the basin.                                                                                                                                                                 
Sat 4th Welsh XC RELAYS, Monmouth Showgrounds  
 Sun 5th Go Tri Spooktactular, Pontypool  No entry on the Day.
Tues 7th Speedwork 5 x 1km Reps  Centre to Park Gates and back. 
Thurs 9th 7 mile Cwmbran loop in reverse
  Track Session at NIAC To be confirmed.
Sat 11th Gwent League Cross Country - Race 2, Penlan Leisure Centre Brecon. (Also an East Wales Champs Race)
Sun 12th Llys y Fran Multi Terrain 'A Dam Good Race TBC
Tues 14th Speedwork Pyramid Session. 200, 400, 600 - 600, 400, 200 x 2 
Thurs 16th Avon Llywyd 10k in reverse
  Strength and conditioning Session Short run, followed by a Strength and Conditioning Session with Ceri.
Sat 18th Elan Valley 10 mile road race  This is the second event in the East Wales Club Championship Series. 
Sun 19th GLCL XC RACE 2 -Rogerstone
Tues 21st Speedwork 12 x 400 metres.
Thurs 23rd Pontypool hilly 8 in reverse
Sat 25th Pontypool parkrun - 4th Birthday  
Sun 26th    
Tues 28th Speedwork 6 x 800 metres. Park Gates to Pond, Pond to Park Gates. 
Thurs 30th Social Run from Little Crown Inn 5 mile run - out and back on cycle track
Sat 2nd Pontypool parkrun  
Sun 3rd Gwent League Cross Country - Race3, Pembrey Park, Burry Port.
